On Sept. 3, 500 employees from Michigan Paving & Materials Company, Stoneco Michigan, and Cadillac Asphalt LLC, joined thousands of road construction workers and contractors at the “Save Our Jobs, Fund Our Roads” rally at the Capitol Building in Lansing. The goal of the rally was to influence legislators on a long-term, sustainable road funding solution in Michigan. Our workforce sustains the state, and we need the support of elected officials to improve Michigan’s crumbling infrastructure.

During the rally, legislators from both the Michigan Senate and House of Representatives were meeting inside the Capitol Building. A group of employees from our companies had the opportunity to meet with some of the legislators to impress upon them the importance of road funding.
